Fix "Network Error" in Mobile App During Registration

On iOS devices, a "Network error" during registration can be caused by a manually installed certificate profile or by iCloud Private Relay.

Resolution

  1. Ensure any required certificate profiles are trusted. See Trust manually installed certificate profiles in iOS, iPadOS, and visionOS.

  2. Try turning off iCloud Private Relay in your device settings:

    1. Go to Settings → [your name] → iCloudPrivate Relay, then tap Private Relay.
    2. Do one of the following:
      • Turn off iCloud Private Relay temporarily: Tap Turn Off Until Tomorrow.
      • Turn off iCloud Private Relay completely: Tap Turn Off Private Relay.
