Overview

This document outlines the updates, improvements, and fixes introduced between versions 4.13.0 (released on Oct 20, 2025) and 4.14.0 (released on Nov 03, 2025) of the Excalibur v4 software.

New Features

User Profile Upgrade

We’ve upgraded the User Profile with new, easy-to-navigate tabs that give you deeper visibility and control. Now, you can quickly access:

  • Audit Logs – Track every key activity and change for full transparency.
  • Accessible Targets – See which resources or systems each user can access at a glance.
  • Sessions – Monitor active and past sessions to ensure security and compliance.
  • Actions – Review the actions such as registrations, authentications, and authorizations performed by the user.
  • Permissions – Easily view and manage user rights and access levels.

Excalibur as an Identity Store

This release introduces the Excalibur Identity Store, providing flexible and easy-to-use tool for onboarding users within your system.

  • If no external Identity Store is set during deployment, a default Local IS and administrator account are created automatically.
  • Create, edit, and delete users directly in the Local IS.
  • Each update generates an audit log for traceability.
  • Invite users from the Local IS via the Invitations page using the same familiar flow as other stores.
