Troubleshooting

This section covers common issues encountered during deployment, configuration, and operation of Excalibur. Each troubleshooting entry follows a Symptom → Cause → Resolution format.

Prerequisites

Troubleshooting commands require administrative (sudo) privileges and kubectl access to the cluster (for Kubernetes deployments) or Docker CLI access (for Docker deployments).

  • Deployment Issues

Container runtime and infrastructure problems — pods not starting, images not pulling, or containers failing to run.

    Kubernetes and Docker issues

  • Configuration and Operation Issues

Setup, connectivity, and runtime behavior — dashboard access, license validation, identity store connections, device integrity, and tunnel failures.

  • Collect Diagnostic Data

Export application server logs with Chronicler and enable mobile app diagnostics to share with the Excalibur support team.
